The Girls

If you remember, last year I did a separate video of the three younger children. The older ones just weren't that excited about it.

This is Jasmine's post and video HERE

This is Kaleb's post and video HERE

This is Kayla's post and video HERE

Jasmine has been working on her drums a lot and I've been meaning to take some newer video of her. Since Jessica is here tonight which is very rare, I thought I'd get all the girls. However, the video did get a little long--10 minutes. The first half is the girls showing their stuff and the second half is me asking them questions. So if nothing else, please watch the first five minutes to get to know the girls  a little better.

Today is also the third anniversary of the twins coming home and I have pictures to post later. But for now--the video. Please watch and leave the girls a comment.

Your girls are fabulous! Kayla is reading so well, and Jasmine has such a lovely voice. I would not want to find bodies underwater, but I'm happy there are other people who would like that job. Have a wonderful weekend!

It's always so cool to see videos instead of just pictures- to hear people's voices and just see how families interact with each other. Thanks girls for telling about yourselves and sharing!!

I have read your blog since the twins came home, but never commented. I just wanted to say how telling it is from the way your girls are that you are such a wonderful mother. I love, love, love reading your blog and always look forward to updates.

Jasmine, you have a BEAUTIFUL voice (and great dance moves!)! Kayla, you should be so proud of yourself for how far you have come -- keep up the great work. I know you can do it! And Jessica, hats off to you for being such a huge role model to all your siblings and such a hard worker...I can tell from your mom's posts how proud she is of you :)

Mrs. Cassel, thank you for taking the time to blog and share your family with us :) From the good days to the not so good days, you are an inspiration.

Well, that's kind of crazy! We wouldn't have any drummers. Maybe it's so they read music? Maybe the music rental store could give him drum lessons or is that who said it? Here you try out on an instrument to see if you're a match and then you show up at beginner band and learn everything there you need to know. Jasmine did do private lessons for a couple of months and we plan to get back to it in the summer when life's not quite so crazy!
