Every day 40-60 people come by this blog. Maybe 1 or 2 leave a comment. Usually no one though. If you're reading this, where are you and how did you find this blog? Do you have a blog? Leave a link. No ads please!
I'm sitting in my living room, in Borlänge Sweden. I found you searching on adoptions blogs, I think if I remeber it right. It was about 1,5 years ago. Your blog is really good and I enjoy reading it. :) - Olga
I found you from Christine Reed's blog, I think. I am in Israel, and I rarely commment, because 1) your posts are often something I have nothing to say about, or would only post something that is a disagreement with what you post, and well, who wants to argue over the internet, and 2) you rarely respond to comments, which might be just because of the silly way Blogger still handles commenting. As in... aversion to threaded comments.
Hello, I am from New York.. I found your blog through another blog. I believe The Reed Family. I would have wrote comments but I am not a Blogger member.. Lovely family! Stacey
I am sitting in Wis, I found your blog many years ago through another famlies blog that was also adopting from FHIG, I had been their Daughters sponsor when she had been first brought in to the O right after I brought my son Home in 2002. I had planned on adopting but my funding fell through so I prayed that the kids that had been put on my heart would find the forever families since mine would not be it! Thanks for Sharing, Rose Anne
I am in Edmonton Alberta Canada but soon to be in North/South Carolina and FLORIDA! we should try and meet up :) I've been reading for yrs..found you through some adoption blog or group I assume...my blog is there but I NEVER post lol. 9 Yr old sister adopted from Haiti nearly 8 Years ago.
Long time reader from Wisconsin, but have never commented. I don't remember exactly how I found your blog - possibly through Christine Reed. I enjoy reading how you handle the various aspects of your family - the activities you plan, the way you get the kids involved in cooking and how you handle the challenges you face with behaviors, etc...
I'm from North Carolina and most days read from my phone- and because of the spam filter (where we have to type in the code) I try to leave a comment and then it just messes up- :)
I do try to respond to comments but you probably wouldn't know that unless you check back. Sometimes it is a day or two later. (Like I did respond to yours yesterday Hevel).
It's interesting to see where everyone is from. I grew up in northern Indiana, moved to FL, back to IN, to England, to North Dakota, to Okinawa, Japan, to South Dakota, back to England, to southern Georgia, to the Florida panhandle. And here I am.
I see your comments come in on my e-mail. I did not realize that a couple of the ones I read did not show up here because for some reason they went to spam!!! So I've marked them not spam so they'll show.
I'm from Kingston, Ontario. I found your blog several years ago. Your families' attitudes to special events and cooking reminds me of mine, so I enjoy reading. I don't have a blog.
I check your site quite a bit. I found your site through Stareifyoumust as well. I don't usually comment because it's a pain without being signed into Blogger. I'm in AZ. I don't have a blog, I just love to read. Your family is amazing.
So I have no idea how I came to your blog. Maybe from Christine's? Honestly, it has been years- and well, I just don't remember!!
I live in Seattle. I have to say I am always so, so jealous at how close you are to Walt Disney World and all that that consists of (and how often you visit them)!
Interestingly enough, we were closer to Disney when we lived in GA because we lived a few miles off of I 75 so it was a straight shot down. Where we live now requires us to drive an hour north, then east a couple hours to get to I 75. It's about 6 1/2 hours or we'd go more often because we have annual passes that run out in November.
I'm not sure why you don't get follow up comments. I don't always answer comments, like if someone says "looks like fun" or "nice photo" there isn't much to say in return, although it's nice that someone took a minute to show they were there.
I am from Northern Indiana. I found your blog several years ago through another adoption blog (I don't remember whose). I have two blogs that are rather inactive right now. I think you can find them by clicking on my picture and looking at my info. One is random and the other is geocaching related. I rarely comment on blogs. I don't know why, maybe because I read on Google reader and in order to comment I have to go to the blog. Lame excuse, I know.
I found your blog through another family when the Haiti adoptions were being done quickly because of the earthquake. My blog is Stareifyoumust. I am in South Carolina.
"Haiti" and "quickly" don't go together anymore. When we got Jeff, it was running six mos. With the twins it had already been three years when the earthquake happened!

I do have a blog, it's
...so it's at http://kosherkola.com, and this is what I mean about the weird way Blogger handles comments.

I'm from the DC area. I found your blog maybe 2 or 3 years ago through Smiles and Trials. I don't have a blog but I enjoy reading them!

I found your blog on the sidebar of Smiles and Trials. I don't have my own blog, so it's sometimes hard to leave comments.
It's funny how many people arrived here through Smiles and Trials. And a couple others blogs.

Thank you all for stopping by.

The weird thing is I'm subscribed by email to comments... and I still didn't get your reply! Blogger!

Nadia--are you visiting the south?
