Guess who got student of the month?
May 18 is Flag day in Haiti. They decided on their flag May 18, 1803 (I think). There's a lot of history about it that you can read about on the web. I got a cake and I added a candle because it looked bare.

How fun that you did something for Haitian flag day- we have been so busy I completely forgot about it. A few years ago- Haitian people in the big city near us used to have a get together- but I don't think they have done it the last couple of years- I need to look into that again!
