New York Day 3

On Saturday we went to the American Museum of Natural History. It's the one in the Night at the Museum movie.
Teddy Roosevelt is out front on his horse.
The dinosaur.

We enjoyed learning about other cultures.

When our brains got full, we took a food break, and I worked on characterization for my teen fiction book. I'm writing out the basic story from each character's point of view.
Jasmine with her travel journal.
We only got through floor 4 and part of floor 3, so we planned to return.
The gift shop had T-shirts that used the periodic table to spell out words. Didn't buy one, but they were creative

The museum closed at 5:30, so we still had the evening to explore NYC.
We went to Dylan's, which is owned by Ralph Lauren's daughter. The candy is 7.49 a half pound. So, $15 a pound!!! It's a cute place, but way too expensive.

Does that look like $7 of candy to you? That's why we planned to go to Economy Candy Store, which is a very old candy store with the candy we grew up with. But someone told us we shouldn't miss Dylan's.
We got supper from a vendor on the street and ate in Central park.
We did our devos from the Princess book there too.
We haven't made it to bed before 1:00 a.m. yet.
