Fall Break 1

The kids didn't have school Friday, so we headed to Disney to use the first two days of our four-day passes. We could only go two days because Adam flies out very early tomorrow. He and Rick are staying near the airport tonight as it's almost two hours away, and they'd have to leave at 3 a.m. otherwise.

We started at Epcot and the kids did the fire house in teams.

We did the savings game too. This is the girls sad that they did not save enough for retirement.

But they beat our team.

We took the boat from the front part of Epcot to the World Showcase.

I have no idea why this photo is posting sideways. It's not sideways on my computer. But this is the kids in Africa. People thought they were a group and were taking pictures. I didn't say anything since no one knows who they are anyway and just thought they were cute.

We shared a bowl of noodles in China. If you are a germaphobic, you probably wouldn't want to hang out with us.

After this we made a mistake that cost us over an hour. It was only 6:00 and we'd done quite a bit at Epcot (Test Track, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, Nemo, Innoventions-several things there, China, Africa etc), so we decided to take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. We took the first monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. Then the one from transportation center to the entrance. And we went through bag check. By then it was 6:40. And we found out it closed at 7:00 p.m. for the  Halloween party. Which cost a fortune extra per person. So we took the bus from Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM). We got there at about 7:30 or so. Went on a couple of rides and were going to go back on Toy Story when we realized all the rides were shut down because it closed at 9:00. Our SUV was at Epcot, and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for a bus to get back there. Epcot closed at 10:00, so we just got our SUV and went back to the hotel. If we'd known the other parks closed so early, we'd have just stayed at Epcot.

Waiting for the Toy Story ride.

Took this on the way out.
I'll post more photos later--including ones of Jessica getting hit by 1,000 gallons of cold water!!

It was, but some things could have been better. I guess you can't have that many together without some issues.
