Fall Festivities

There have been a lot of special fall activities this week. This pumpkin carving was a week ago at Tyler's church.

Jeff, who arrived last Thursday and left Wed. morning, was here  for the tailgate breakfast at church.

Unfortunately Jasmine was still dealing with stomach issues and didn't feel up to going. She didn't go to  either our church's or Tyler's church's fall festival in the evening either.

The twins went through the costume bins and  tried on  most of the costumes, except the pirate ones they wore to Disney.

Today it's a costume, "tomorrow" it will be for real.

Jeff and Jasmine made a diet soda cake--yellow cake mix and 12 oz of diet sunkist. That's it. Don't add the eggs, oil or water. Mix and bake in a 10x13 pan.

Carving the pumpkin. It came out great.

We've been reading a chapter a day from the book of Proverbs for our morning devotions. We go around and everyone takes turns reading a verse. Then each person finds one verse they like and shares it. Today we read the last chapter and had Chick Fil A for breakfast as a reward. We actually didn't read every chapter because we only do this on school days so missed the chapters from the weekends.
Some of the costumes we see repeated through the years.
