Easter 2

After the twin's egg hunt and lunch, we headed to the bay. Normally we go to a certain beach and fly kites. The older two normally work at noon on Easter, but this year they didn't. However, Adam worked at 4:00, so we chose the bay so we could just run him to work and not make everyone leave, but he could also have a little time jet skiing.

Since I normally buy ice cream at the beach on Easter and there isn't a store at the bay, I bought a big box of assorted ice cream bars and took them with us.

We dragged Anthony along too.

Kaleb's love language is food. Seriously. Food is the top thing on his mind.

How was school?

I ate lunch. So and so had cookies at lunch.

What did you do in class?

We had snack.
At movie time at night:

This is a good movie.

I like popcorn.

Do you like the movie?

Yeah, with popcorn.

And so on. You get the point.

Adam was a bit the same way about food in preschool, but I think Kaleb has him beat.

Tyler kayaking.

Adam on knee board.

Me delivering soda to Anthony and Tyler who were fishing.

Tyler tubing.

The twins ready to tube.
Jasmine was with them.

Jessica tubing.

Me tubing. This was my first go on the tube.

Looks like so much fun! Liam's language is food too... all about the food... he was failure to thrive and as a little one we had to tell day care to stop giving him portions as they were giving him three and four helpings, because "he was hungry and wanted more..." I had to teach them that he has had plenty and needs to learn to regulate that he really isn't hungry. Much better now but he's still all about food! Hmm... maybe a post I should do soon! :)

I love that you guys can go to the beach any ol' time! beautiful!

Steven's love language is food as well- what's for supper mom??

He is on first name basis with the lunch ladies at school- they know how much he loves food as well and he thinks they are awesome! :)
He puts in special requests with them I think :)

Lisa--Adam would eat until he threw up when he was a toddler/preschooler but I had to get a dr's note to limit his food because they said excessive eating was a sign of abuse/nelgect!! He still has impulse control issues now at 16.

What a FUN day!!!

I love the Easter Egg hunt tag with flashlights. I forgot you did that last year, and I wanted to do it.

The book cover looks great!
