Sign Language

Jessica is taking sign language in school this year. She decided to use Jasmine for a project she had to teach another person the manual alphabet.

Jessica fingerspelled words to Jasmine and had her write them down.

Jasmine doesn't look thrilled but they actually had fun doing this together.

Hey, we do signing at home for our foreign language- homeschooling. Love it!!! I get to sign in church sometimes too :)

Cool! I took a sign language class in college - was awesome, but I've forgotten a lot of it. Took it as an elective with a friend of mine. She's now a special ed preschool/head-start teacher, so I think she still uses hers some.

Ha - she spelled FOG in those top three pictures I think. I still know the alphabet - learned that in grade school and retained it - although I have to go through it in order to find the letter usually. :)
