This Week

Last week and the first half of this week seems to have centered around dental work--Jessica had her wisdom tooth pulled, Jasmine had the rest of her braces and her wires on, and then I had a root canal. It was on a tooth with a crown, and the crown was not able to be salvaged, so I get to go get a new crown next week. None of that was very fun.

But then we had some fun times.
The Broadway tour of Beauty and the Beast came to our civic center. I took Jasmine as an early birthday treat. I would have taken her even if it weren't just a couple of weeks until her birthday. But we did this instead of a party. Jessica bought her own ticket and went along with us.

We went to Chick Fil A on the way. We wanted to go somewhere more fancy, but it was the day that Jessica gets home late from college.

Sisters

At the performance. We didn't buy souvenirs.
Guess what? Tyler measures at 6 foot now! He's just slightly taller than Adam (and 30 pounds lighter).
Jasmine's team won the game she missed to go to Beauty and the Beast, so they played tonight. Jasmine (#22 blue) opened the game in prayer. It's a city league--mostly boys and girl's club teams--but they pray before games.

This is her team. They are all eleven. At least they were at the first game. It's the 11-12 age bracket so some may have turned 12, but we didn't start with any 12-year-olds.

Jasmine on the defense.

Look how high the kid under the basket jumped!

Her team won again tonight, so they play again tomorrow. That's the last game.

Adam started track today. It poured most of the day, but cleared up just in time for practice. He's sore because he hasn't been that diligent about running since cross country ended.

So ahead we have Jasmine's last game. Kaleb's game, but not his last. Basketball pictures.  Track practice. Middle School Capture the Flag at church, but it overlaps bb photos, so I'm not sure about that. Plus Jessica and Adam work as always.

Hope you liked Beauty and the Beast. My two did. But we saw it in an "old" thater with all the marble, fancy chandeliers, double staircases, etc. so Conleigh was over the moon before the show even started.

That would be fun. This was just a civic center and our seats weren't the greatest. We got the last group of three seats with an end seat. And that was three months ahead! I didn't want to get tickets much before that because you never know what's going to come up and those were pretty pricey tickets.

It would have been hard to top last year's Wonder Works party.
