Enjoying the Warmer Weather

The weather has warmed up and it's now in the mid 70s-80. We've taken advantage of that during this spring break week. We didn't plan a trip for this week because the twins are still getting used to living in a family. Going to preschool three hours a day and church on Sunday mornings has added new experiences so we decided to just hang around here.

The little ones have done a lot of playing out in the yard. It's hard to keep them out there though due to gnats and other unwelcomed flying insects.

We went back to the same beach we were at on Easter. Everyone can just do their own thing there. Adam took his skim board.

Jessica just wanted to get some sun.

The twins' favorite thing to do is eat no matter where we are!

Adam decided to have the little ones bury him!

The wind made it a little cool.

After we got home and everyone was showered, Jessica and I went to see The Spy Next Door. It's a good family movie but over the twins' heads. I think I'll add it to my netflix list.

Sooooo jealous of your beach fun! But at least it's sunny here today! Glad you're all enjoying spring break.

It has been warm here, even broke out the shorts and short sleeves but then today it is cool and raining so it is back to pants and sweatshirts. Sometimes I wish we lived near the beach

OK... I have to ask... how do you get the sand out of Kayla's hair? I love the beach, but cringe at the thought of having to undo her braids and scrub her scalp every time!

THankfully I had forgotten to condition her hair the night before so her hair was fairly dry and I could brush most of it off and very carefully wash out the rest. Her hair is so short that the twists only last a week as it is.

How fun Kathy, we JUSt packed up our snow accessories here, not quite beach weather in CT yet.

Such fun.
