Easter Birthday

I haven't gotten much posted. Mostly it's because I dropped my computer and Tyler dropped it once (he didn't know the backpack was zipped all the way up and the weight of the computer pulled it open) and the slot for the photo card is smashed. So I had to get an adapter. 

And I hadn't replied to comments because I'm no longer receiving an e-mail when I have a comment like I used to. 

Winter's second birthday fell on Easter this year. So in the morning we had an egg hunt for River and Winter at the beach as we have since River's first Easter (I think).

Winter came over in her sleeper and got dressed here.

Flying kites on Easter is a Haitian tradition we have followed since the twins came home.

In the evening we had Winter's party at a nearby park. She was pretty tired out from the day.

I need to get a new computer. I, of course, let my crash and dent expire a month before the computer was dropped or they'd have to fix it. I currently have an ASUS. What computer does everyone have and do you like it?

Easter

This was Winter's first Easter. I don't have as good of pictures as I'd like. This is the only one of either of the little girls still dressed up.

River was ready for a nap about the time we were cooking a late breakfast (after early church) on the beach. So she was in a cranky mood. Cranky two year old children like to throw food on the ground in case you don't remember!!

She did cheer up when we went on the beach to "hunt" for eggs. But she didn't want to pick them up! Jessica got her to pick up some and put them in her (Jessica's) dress.

Then, in keeping with Haitian tradition--and our own--we flew kites.

Overdue

I know a blog post is long overdue. Unfortunately, so is Jessica's baby! Winter was due April 11, and there is no sign of her.

Jessica has been wanting to go to the beach, so we went twice. Jasmine had late start due to the testing schedule so was able to go the second time.

River is getting so big. She can walk, climb and get in to everything. She is 15 months old. 

She loved the sand. Especially putting it all over herself.

We went to a different beach both beach days.

River helps me test new toys for the shop.

Tara, Sierra, Adam and Kiki came over for a bit before leaving for the beach. Here are the girls. Wish Jessica and River could have joined us, but they did meet us at the beach.

Glad to have so many together, but sad we are not yet approved for child #9.
