On the Way Home
The SUV ecided to play spinning tea cups going on to I 10 from I 75.There was a bridge with water pouring down it and it's on a curve. The police said it's a bad spot when it rains. So I guess we hydroplaned. I had thought we might have blown a tire at first. Ty says we spun around two and a half times. What a crazy feeling to be spinning out of control and hoping you don't hit the cement bridge or any cars. I think God had the sides for me because we went between the cement sides of the bridge spinning crazy out of control and then went off the road without hitting anything.
Except there was a cement curb we hit pretty hard. The car was still going, and I was afraid we were going to roll down the embankment but the tires got embedded in the soft dirt. It ripped both tires off, broke one rim and a third tire was bent. Quite a learning experience for the kids!!! It took an hour to get ahold of someone to tow us out and that was quite interesting to the kids too.
Once we were towed to the tire shop, it only took about 15 minutes and we were on the road home again.
All the videos are on my phone, and I'm not sure how to get them to my computer. I'll have Rick do that later.
