Weekend

Friday was spring pictures at the twin's school.
I decided to dress them up and see if we could get good pictures. You get to see them before you decide whether to buy them or not.

I had to take about 20 photos to get good ones because Kaleb would look the wrong way, and Kayla would bug her eyes  out at me overcompensating for closing her eyes during the picture!

The school wouldn't do a picture of them together. Oh well. It will be interesting to see how they did.

Jasmine's school had a middle school Mardi Gras dance last night. It was any different than the winter dance other than that there were purple and white balloons and masks on the tables.

Someday I'm going to get pictures of her with her friends, but it was dark in there. I was back door guard making sure no one exited out the back. It counted as volunteer hours toward the 20 we agree to do when we enroll someone in that school.
Adam's track meet was local today, so Jasmine and I went to it.

He ran the 4x800 relay Each of 4 kids ran 1/2 mile), the distance relay--he was runner three so ran  1200 meters (3/4 mile), the 1600 (one mile) and a sprint medley (Adam ran 800m or 1/2).

He got one second place and two third place ribbons.

He's come so far. Really proud of him for turning things around for himself.

Those photos in front of the bookshelf? Yes. I think all school pictures should include books, btw, not some fake wood background. :) I doubt that the school will take better pics than you did.

I think the school does a green screen for the spring pictures and you choose a background. But if it's like last year, the did such a close up that the face took up the whole picture with very little background around it. Too close to use in an 8x10 because it would look like a head mounted on the wall.

Just want to say that you probably took better pic than the school did!

Thank you. I hope the school ones come out well. Sears take so many and they are all so good that I end up spending way too much money!!! With the school ones there is no choice. Might do the Easter Bunny if the school ones don't come out well :)

I think you have some great pictures of the twins. I know you had a good time at the conference. Wish I could've come.

Conference was a lot more profitable because I had a women's fiction projetc instead of children's which no one is ever looking for :)

Thank you. I"m thinking that I might dress them up and take them somewhere like the bay and take pictures. I put them up as individuals on our wall, but my mom wants them in a portrait together for space reasons.

I agree- your pictures are very good... they both look so nice in their dress clothes.
