Veteran's Day

Rick served in the Air Force for twenty years. We didn't want to get out, but at that time they were not re-enlisting for more than that. Shortly after he retired they started sending people back to the middle east and letting people extend longer, but he was already out. I miss the overseas assignments. Jasmine was born about the same time Rick got out so she only knows civilian life.

We went to the parade today. Our local one is small and always quiet. Only one band plays. I guess we should go to the bigger one downtown but we never get around to it. I avoid the Christmas parade because it's VERY long and it's at night. I stay home and tape it.

Since Jessica dropped band and Adam didn't continue, we had no one in the parade today nor will we at Christmas.

They have free hotdogs and soda in the park. They also have a band play but we came home and watched Up and Twelve Dogs of Christmas.
