Jasmine's Photos #2

As I mentioned in the last post, I am doing a senior project for Jasmine and am trying to pick her best photos for it. A few of you commented on the first set of photos which I posted on Tuesday. Here is set #2. These were taken as part of our Indiana trip. As before, the numbers are above the pictures. Please list your favorites in the comment section.

Jasmine's Photos

I told Jasmine we would make a graduation collage of her favorite photos for her senior year. I mean, why have one photo when you can have a collage, right? I am sure we will take many more photos over the next few months, but I'm trying to pick the best of what we already have taken. A few times we had major flops.

This first set was taken the same day as her official yearbook ones at Romo. We had her make up done in the mall and didn't realize how overboard they went with her eyebrows. It's very different for her. Nonetheless, which of these do like best?

Leave the number in the comment section. Numbers are above the pictures. Even if you don't normally comment, please do!

Summer Fun

As you know, our summer started out with a trip to Indiana that included a lot of side activities. Since we've been home, Jasmine and I have been hanging out on the beach a lot. Sometimes Rick and Kaleb join us, and once Jessica and the girls hit the beach with us.

River is 2 1/2 now

 Winter is 14 months now

A bird!

Sand didn't taste as good as she thought it would!

There were REALLY big waves. River was scared, but Winter loved "jumping" the waves.

Kayla's mission team is in Evansville, IN now.

How are you spending your summer?

Building a Writing Platform

I am working on acquiring an agent for my teen fiction. One thing they look at is your presence online. This is a family blog, so it does not count. However, I have an author website HERE and it has its own blog HERE. If you would, please go to the blog and subscribe to it. I have not written many posts lately, but I need to in order to build it up.

I also have a facebook author page that is under Katrina Cassel, but I am hoping to switch my byline to Kathy Cassel for teen fiction as it is very different from what I've written in the past. So I will be creating a new facebook author page. But if you are on facebook, like them both :)

If anyone else has a blog on Wix, I cannot figure out how to get it to allow comments on every blog post rather than just leaving a comment on the blog page in general.

If you have a child going into grades 5, 6 or 7, please consider ordering a copy of this book through your local Christian bookstore or amazon.

Okay, end of advertisements. I'll be back soon with new pictures.
