I'm doing a test to see who is really reading. So I am repeating a post from 2014, but updating it for my family. If you are reading this, please comment.

I have two blue eyed children. And I have blue eyes. Mine are a bit grayish so I'd guess toward gunmetal blue. But I'm not sure. None of us exactly match any of them.
Rick's eyes are hazel. |

I have five brown eyed children. They are pretty much between chocolate and nut brown. |

Green eyes are pretty rare, so it's funny that almost all the romance books have a green eyed protagonist in them.
Since writing this, I have two blue eyed grand daughters. In fact, they have very noticeably blue eyes. Winter's were more grayish when she was born but have turned blue. Both of their parents are blue eyed.
So what color are your eyes? |

I still read your blogs. In fact a while back I set them up at gwene.org so that your blog posts get turned into newsgroup messages. They don't show properly in my newsgroup reader, but at least that lets me know when there is something new to read (otherwise I wouldn't have seen this blog post until next Saturday morning).
My eyes are "boring blue".
My eyes are brown. My husband's eyes are blue. I have two bio kids with very dark brown eyes, even darker than mine, and one bio kid with eyes that are more of a grayish blue than her daddy's.
Our adopted kids have a brown-eyed bio dad and a blue-eyed bio mom. One has brown eyes, the exact same shade as mine. One has crystal blue eyes just like bio mom. The other has eyes that are blue-gray or green depending on the light/day/whatever.
And I'm never bored with your blog...I just don't usually have anything to say.
Hazel, or I guess "honey," if you're using this color chart. My husband's eye color isn't on your green chart. Sometimes they are gunmetal blue, sometimes they look pale green. It depends on what he's wearing. :) Both of my kids have dark brown eyes.
I had no idea there were so many different shades of eye colors. I think mine fall under gunmetal blue! But, honestly I'm not totally sure. I look at my face every day, but I really have to think about what color my eyes are. ha!
My eyes are dark brown.
My husband and I and our child all have different variations of green eyes.
Mine are brown, John's were brown all the kids had brown eyes. It's still out on what color Sierra's eyes are going to be they're a color all their own and I think Jasper is going to have brown eyes but I haven't seen him since May and it's hard to tell from pics.
I have blue eyes as do all my siblings. My daughter has a blue/Hazel mix. Very interesting! My husband's are green.
My husband has hazel eyes, mine are brown. My five kids are 3 hazel, two brown, although it's not dark brown, maybe amber or honey. So not that different.
What I find interesting is that my mom, her sister, brother and both parents had green eyes! Two of my six sibs have green...

Interesting how many hazel and green eyes there are in the comments. Ken, I doubt yours are boring blue. We probably have about the same. I always figured I had mom's eyes, but when we were talking about the colors this summer due to the girls, it seems mom's are a bit toward hazel.
I have blue eyes, my husband has brown eyes, my daughter has brown and my son has blue.

My eyes are blue.
Yes, I'm still reading. Hope you continue to post!
I have nut brown eyes, which according to me are boring :( I wish I had amber eyes
Honey brown may be
Icy blue over here :)
My eyes are forest green. My husband has cornflower blue eyes. Yet somehow, our daughter has gotten these steely blue or gunmetal grey colored eyes. Genetics is very interesting indeed.
I’m pretty sure my eyes are cornflower blue
