Today Jessica and I decided to take a drive and explore in another area. We drove to some springs and I got the great idea to take a nature walk and get some exercise.
After we walked and walked and walked we arrived back at the springs--NOT. It was the wrong springs!!
We asked some guys how far back it was to the other springs and they just laughed.
We tried to retrace our trail but it disappeared.
We wanted to just follow the river but there was no path along the river. We were debating hiking way back out to the highway or wading down the river.
We'd seen this kayaker pass a few minutes before and when we were heading back to try and find a way out, we saw her again and yelled up river at her and asked if we gave her and the guys in the canoe with her a few dollars, would they take us back to the springs we were parked at because we couldn't find any way back out.
So we made our way down to the river (not nearly as easy as it sounds!!!) and the canoe picked us up.

By time we got back we were so hot we just jumped in the springs clothes and all!
It was COLD!
We did not make it to evening church.
