Actually, thinking back, that picture didn't come with him. I called the hospital and told them his birthdate and that I was adopting him and wanted to see if the pictures were still avaialable. The said I had to get a court order. So I waited a couple of days, called back and said I was his mom (I was--I just didn't say "birth") and that I'd like to get his pictures.
He was in foster care almost 5 months and they took him to Walmart for photos twice plus had taken snapshots of him.
I didn't realize what a blessing that was until I started adopting children with no pictures before the age they were adopted or before they went into the O.
Happy Birthday to Adam! Our Pipo's birthday is today. I have one picture of him at about 4 that I got through a true miracle (long story) but I so wish I had some baby pictures.
How precious! You got a baby picture! Happy birthday! This May I will have my first official teenager.
